There is a box located in the lobby of the Community Center at the west end. In cooperation with the Daughters of the American Revolution, the Community Center has become a flag disposal site. The Community Center portion of the building contains a banquet hall and rooms available for rent. Both the Howard Miller Library and the Community Center are services of the City of Zeeland. The Howard Miller Public Library resides in the same building as the Community Center. Named after the founder of the Howard Miller Clock Company, the library is located at 14 South Church Street, just one block south of Main Street in Zeeland, Michigan. The library is governed by the Zeeland City Council, with recommendations from the seven member Library Advisory Board. This library is a member of the Lakeland Library Cooperative and participates in MeLCat. This service area includes the City of Zeeland, Zeeland Charter Township, Olive Township, and Blendon Township.

The Howard Miller Public Library provides services to an area of 22,519 persons (based on the 2010 Census).
